The treatment of these story arcs is so different that, not for the first time, I wonder if modern 616 shouldn't have a new universe designation.

All villians should take a seat and learn something from the Sensational Skrull. He has panache. Usually anything involving skrulls has me twitchy and agitated, but he makes them so much fun. I liked his choice of unintelligent and blindly loyal minion too. There was a feeling of 60s camp in the entire issue.

Watching Steve jump down that elevator shaft though...that had my heart in my throat. As you say it was classic Steve.
