Date: 2014-06-20 02:22 am (UTC)I continue to love the Sensational Hydra/Skrull and how ridiculously impressed with himself he is. He shapeshifts into a giant pterosaur! He has a crush on Victoria Beckham! He uses the word "rubes!"
Steve's determination and ingenuity in the handcuffs scene was classic Cap ^_^.

Date: 2014-06-22 05:46 pm (UTC)All villians should take a seat and learn something from the Sensational Skrull. He has panache. Usually anything involving skrulls has me twitchy and agitated, but he makes them so much fun. I liked his choice of unintelligent and blindly loyal minion too. There was a feeling of 60s camp in the entire issue.
Watching Steve jump down that elevator shaft though...that had my heart in my throat. As you say it was classic Steve.
