The battle against Squadron Supreme continues.

Meanwhile, Clint and Steve settle their disagreements in a remarkable mature manner, and Wanda and Carol's respective problems can't be solved by a feminine bonding session.

I love that Steve's version of threatening involves calling people "mister".

It might be a bit macabre from Wanda's perspective, but I hope that she tries to conjure Simon outside of combat. I would like to have a conversation with him. Also, I really enjoy overpowered Wanda in general and don't see why she shouldn't follow the family tradition of controlling fundamental forces of the universe.

Oh, Carol. Look at your life, look at your choices! When Clint Barton is looking mature and sensible next to you, it's time to reevaluate.

Despite the disturbing subtext of Carol's drinking, I did like her scene with Wanda a lot. Sitting there with the ice cream and the booze, having the superhero version of girl talk. There needs to be lots more of the superhero version of girl talk in comics.

But OMG, Wanda's plot-convenince powers are getting hilarious. I loved that at one point she actually says, "I don't know how, but I'm doing it!" Yeah, Wanda, I think the writers don't know how you're doing it either.

I wanted Wanda to realize that booze and ice cream should be combined into delicious frozen drinks and then there could have been more bonding. Some one has to get through to Carol and as much as Tony might empathise I think Wanda has a much better chance.

I suspect you're right about Wanda having a better chance -- Carol is more likely to listen to another woman, and to someone she doesn't perceive as an authority figure. Unfortunately, I think Wanda is too preoccupied with her own issues right now to pay much attention to anyone else's.
